It’s every travellers dream to travel in style and comfort as one always looks forward to have a comfortable journey while flying 40,000 feet above the ground. After having a perfect luxury travel experiences in airlines like Jet Airways, Qatar and Emirates we are happy to include Singapore Airlines in our favourite list of airlines. We travelled in a Singapore Airlines A380 Business Class last December to Singapore back and forth from Mumbai with our family and have to confess there was not even a bit of disappointment in every aspect.

After savouring a three course dinner at the GVK Lounge in Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai we were looking forward to board our flight and experience the luxury once we were aboard.

In-flight experience

As we boarded the flight we were greeted by the beautiful and courteous in-flight crew and were ushered into our seats. We took up the window seats while we tricked our parents to occupy the middle ones. The seats are designed in such a way that it can be converted into a cozy full-length diagonal bed.

The uniqueness of this seating feature is that the seats can be strapped back and is easily unfolded to convert it into a full bed in no time. The seat adjustment consoles were user-friendly and we recommend you to grab a window seat to avail the various storage compartments on your window side. The entertain panel has a sleek design which opens up various sockets to connect mobiles, laptops and a small vanity mirror.

Food and entertainment

Once we settled down in our seats we were offered refreshments, hot towels and an array of assorted magazines to choose from. Once the flight took its height, the tray table was beautifully laid by the ever enthusiastic crew lady and the scrumptious meals were served. Since we had pre-ordered our dinner, Singapore Airlines served us delicious three course Indian veg meal prepared by Masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor.

The Krisflight Entertainment offers an excellent choice of international music channels, popular TV series and a range of classical and recent movies. While up in the air, you can also access the wi-fi through a fixed price. Catching upon the recent releases and finishing our lip-smacking dinner, we requested for the turndown service and   we passed our five hours of flight comfortably tucked in under the soft and fluffy Givenchy blankets.

Overall experience

And hence, with the impeccable service, comfort and style travelling in Singapore Airlines has been one of our best experience while travelling and would definitely choose to travel again in this.
