What is TOTS?

“Travel is more than the seeing of sights, it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent in the ideas of living” – Mirium Beard.

TOTSTales of travelling sisters is a travel blog where two sisters share their travel experiences and passion for food with the world.

Hailing from the historic part of coastal Karnataka: Karkala (you can read bit of our hometown here) the travelling sisters were always interested in the different cultures, gastronomy and lifestyles around the world. And here we are living up our childhood dream of exploring the beautiful locations of our lovely planet and sharing it with all the lovely people through our blog “Tales of Traveling Sisters”. We sisters are currently married and are continuing our dream of travelling and exploring the world with our respective partners and will continue to share all of those memories here. As travellers we wish to try and do something new and exciting in every trip by combining fun, adventure and luxury.

Co-founder of TOTS, I call myself as the official photographer of TOTS. Capturing the beauty of either the place or people has been a keen interest to me ever since I started travelling. And, how can I leave out on the delicious side of any travel. It’s just not the history and culture of a place that intrigued me to start this journey but also the love for food and to explore and taste new cuisines. I’m currently living with my husband in Bangalore and have been dividing my time between family and travel blogging. Every journey is a new story for us and I want to share our beautiful memories with the world through the digital media and reach out to other travellers and readers.

From the eagerness and strong will to travel and visit new places and acquire new experiences I came up with the idea of TOTS. Having actively contributing to the blog by penning down our memories I call myself as the editor of TOTS. As a social media addict and a software engineer I used my knowledge to handle technical aspects of the blog. The blog provided me with the medium to bring forward the various veg delicacies from around the world. After living in Mumbai since 3 years, I have made this city a permanent base with my husband and plan to continue the travel escapades with my life partner.
